We recommend that you only progress to directly addressing this aspect of your bio-chemistry, once you have your Gastro -Intestinal health and inflammation under control.

Gut-level inflammation will inhibit the ability of your body to excrete toxic conjugates and thus they will re-enter your blood stream.

Likewise, systemic inflammation will hinder detoxification pathways wired into your lymphatic system, and the extra-cellular matrix. It is not advised to move toxins outside of cells, without the support to your lymphatic system and extra-cellular matrix.

The excretion route is also known as the third phase of your detoxification system, which involves the lymphatic system, the extra-cellular matrix, bile secretion and transport, gut-level, and kidney-level transport proteins.

This phase is the most neglected and least addressed aspect of detoxification.

Please note that there is a lot of overlap here, as there are many natural compounds that lower inflammation, and help with detoxification at the same time. Please talk to your Practitioner to help you choose the right strategy.

Please note that many substances commonly used to address detoxification, may have an impact on the levels of your neurotransmitters.

Your specific genotypes, listed under the NEUROTRANSMITTERS section, may influence how you react to these substances, as far as mood and cognitive processing are concerned.
